Juggling can be pretty tricky at first.  If you’re having any difficulties, watch this next video for some helpful tips:

At first it will be very tempting to juggle as long as you can even if your pattern is shaky. Try to resist this urge at first. Take it slow and make sure your technique is good before trudging forward. Once you’re sure that you’re throwing properly, it’s just a matter of practicing a lot.

The goal of practice is to gain muscle memory. Just like when you learned how to walk, it’s all about repetition. At first the motions were deliberate but awkward, but over time they became smooth and natural. The same is true for juggling. The more hours you spend practicing carefully, the more comfortable the pattern will be until it becomes second nature.

When you’re ready to move on to the next challenge, it’s time to learn some 3-ball tricks!
